OUR STORY

We're a team of five California-based surfers building a community brand around our surf app, Blue Room. It’s the product of over two years of research, design, testing, and development—plus a whole lot of love and support from our community. What started as a small, seemingly far-fetched idea turned into a group of friends bootstrapping to bring their dream app to life.

We started building Blue Room in the winter of 2023. Since then, we’ve designed and developed our prototype in-house, tested it in beta, hosted community events to fundraise, and officially launched on the App Store.
